Curriculum

Play-based for school readiness

With a balanced approach that combines a well-developed curriculum and hands on learning, we strive to make learning FUN! We believe that children learn best through play, and that is the foundation for our curriculum. Research, as well as our experience, shows that true play-based learning is intentional, inviting, and impactful.

Children will work toward developmental milestones and school readiness using engaging, age-appropriate activities that are designed to teach specific skills.

Hands-on Learning

In addition to the activities carefully planned by the teachers in each group, our Curriculum Coordinator creates hands-on learning activities for each age group that focus on building literacy, language, phonemic awareness, math, and problem solving skills.

Enrichment

Enrichment classes will enhance our learning at Bloom. Every week, students will participate in:

Music & Movement to get their bodies moving and to build the gross motor skills that are an important part of ensuring that their minds are ready to learn.

Day Dreamers, a story-based special that allows them to engage in creative role playing while cultivating their imaginations.

In addition, each month we provide a Highlight Special, taught by a subject area expert to provide exciting opportunities to learn more about science, cooking, and the arts.
